My Governor has a bright idea for his fellow Democratic Party Super Delegates
I do not know Tennessee Goververnor Brededsen personally, but I’ve seen him many, many times at places like the magazine stand at Davis Kidd, standing in line at Starbucks or Fox’s Donut Den. He’s doesn’t come from the central-casting politician-looking actor school, but his self-made business success and brutal brilliance has endeared him to both Democrats and a significant grab of business-centric Republicans. He was Nashville mayor during its most progressive era, ever. He was confident enough in his command of both business and policy to make bold decisions. Boldness is not a word I would associate with the actions of Nashville mayors, before or since.
It’s definitely worth a read.
