About
As you’ve likely guessed, this site is maintained by me, Rex Hammock. On it, I post stuff that’s not long enough or on-topic enough for my blog, but too long for Twitter.
While this is a blog, it’s not the blog I’ve been maintaining since August, 2000. That blog is called RexBlog.
Here, I share things I run across on the web, or in life. They are not big important things, just interesting, provocative or fun.
To see several years of items I’ve posted here, click on the “Archives” link on any page.
This site is hosted on a publishing platform I really like and I recommend it for anyone who wants something that’s very, very easy to set up and use, but also flexible enough to grow into something much more than, say, a Facebook account: Tumblr.com. And because of some of the subtle, yet quite helpful, features of Tumblr, it’s an easy place to post things you’d like to end up being displayed on various sites that I maintain. For example, I can post something here and it will show up on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn if I choose. That keeps me from needing to post three different places.
If you’d like to reach me, you can email me at rexhammock@gmail.com.
